Great game on a hilly pitch

A wet and hilly pitch was a challenge for Amaranth this morning.

A great start to the game with both team playing some exceptional and exciting football.

Charlie C opening the scoring with a free kick from the edge off the area.

Amaranths corners and set pieces were working a treat, NEL couldn’t cope with them.

Amaranth went 2 Nil up just before half time with an own goal.

Second half NEL came out fighting and scored 2 great goals to bring them right back into it.

With 5 mins to go Lewis T scored a goal to win the game.

Fantastic game from 2 great team with great football played by both.
