2. Visiting Amaranth

We look forward to welcoming you to Amaranth. Our club is located in a remote location. Please vbe aware of the following instructions and guidelines;

  • Our club is located through a working farm. When you access the unfinished farm track, please ensure you drive at a maximum speed of 10mph. Excessive speed damages the road surface and can stress the animals in the fields around us.
  • We may ask those who speed through the farm to park out on the road and access the club on foot.
  • We have four pitches at Amaranth and limited car parking. Where possible, please car share.
  • When parking, please park closely to other vehicles. It may look like there is ample space when you arrive, but more cars will follow behind you and fill up the car park.
  • Please park where instructed if we are marshalling the car park. Our car park is unfinished and uneven. If you do not want to park where we ask you to, you are free to park out on the road outside of the farm.
  • Anyone that abuses our car parking marshals will be asked to leave the club and may face further action from the club. Please remember that we are volunteers trying to make sure everyone can park safely and keep access and exit routes clear.

We are located a short distance from J46 on the M1 If you are accessing the club from the motorway, please see these directions.

If you are coming from Leeds centre or via the Outer Ring Road, please follow these directions.https://www.amaranthfc.co.uk/a/facilities-5907.html?page=4

For SatNav, please use the Postcode LS15 8AB. NOTE: Some Sat Navs will direct you along Nanny Goat Lane. This is an old route that has not been accessible for 20 years. This is an issue with some SatNavs and not the postcode.
